How does Pocket Guide work?

Top 10 routes The simplest way of exploring the city is to let our Pocket Guide lead you through one of the 10 set routes. You will need approximately 2 to 3 hours for each route so you can plan how many routes you want to take on a given day. Naturally, you can always take a break and have lunch in one of the restaurants – which Pocket Guide can also recommend – and carry on from where you left off.
- When you have chosen the route you want to take, your Pocket Guide will lead you to the starting point. Navigation information will be given to match your choice of means of transportation – car, taxi, public transportation or on foot. If you choose to get there by car, your Pocket Guide car navigation system will guide you to the parking lot nearest the starting point. Your Pocket Guide will save where you parked your car so you can easily find it after you finish the route.
- Your Pocket Guide will automatically start a brief route summary when you get to the starting point of the chosen route. This summary contains the most important information concerning that given route, for example, what you are about to see, the length of the route, the necessary time, etc. After this, you may start the route in your own pace. You will always see your actual position, the route track, icons of the points of interest. When you reach a given point of interest, the Pocket Guide will automatically start the relevant audio guide and display photos of the monument for easier recognition. You can receive more information by clicking on the point of interest.
- The Pocket Guide will make walking towards the next point of interest more special by telling you interesting stories about the city, the relevant age or the point of interest.
